A drop of Tuscany, a touch of Texas and a heavy sprinkling of West Australian finesse. Meet Ginahgulla Olive Estate – a farmhouse-style holiday home that’s ready to impress.

Sitting comfortably alongside gnarled olive trees, this spacious Margaret River abode complements its countryside surroundings with stone accent walls, timber-framed outdoor areas, wooden decking and polished concrete floors.

The owners’ penchant for art is echoed behind the abode’s bright orange doors – light, bright rooms filled with hand-picked antiques and eclectic art pieces that inject vibrancy and personality into each space.

The heart of the home presents guests with framed olive grove views from almost every angle; inviting the outdoors in through large glass windows and bi-fold doors.

Four bedrooms, each with their own ensuite, plus multiple entertainment zones, makes Ginahgulla a great choice for friends and family, while little add-ons like a custom-made, Japanese-style outdoor bathtub and an outdoor shower ensure this home sits in a class above the rest.

This luxury residence offers guests a unique opportunity to experience the amazing natural landscape of the Margaret River region. You can enjoy the peace and seclusion of the bush, the views to the ocean or pristine beaches within a three-minute drive.

This architecturally designed property is spread out over a number of levels, all making the most of 180-degree bush views – or ocean views if you go to the top viewing deck. Use of local stone and floor-to-ceiling glass throughout, brings the outdoors in. Numerous balconies and terraces provide many options for alfresco holiday living.

From the spacious entry foyer, glass doors open to the expansive paved patio and long lap pool, plus an outdoor heated spa. A BBQ area is adjacent to the pool area.

Inside the home on the lower level, there is a king-size bedroom with a bathroom, sauna and lounge room. On the entrance level (middle level), there are two king-size bedrooms with direct access to the pool deck, each with access to a large (shared) ensuite. Also on this level is a light filled bathroom with a freestanding bath, spoil yourself whilst overlooking the lush grounds.

Walk up the timber staircase to the spectacular main living area and chefs kitchen that’s fully equipped and offers views of the pool and out to the ocean. The living/dining is fabulously open-plan, separated by a beautiful double-sided stone gas fireplace. The master king bedroom and ensuite with views across the pool area, finish off this living area level.

Nestled in peaceful Augusta where the Blackwood River meets the sea and a mere 25 minute drive from Margaret River and all the region’s attractions. Sometimes you can’t quite put your finger on the way a house makes you feel… it’s an instant dose of relaxation, mixed with unparalleled comfort and an overall ease.

And so it is with Flinders Bay House, it’s bright and breezy with a light filled interior and high ceilings. It’s obvious from the outset that the owners have an innate sense of style. Fresh white wood panelling on walls, unique artworks, bespoke bric-a-brac and plenty of blue are peppered throughout, creating a calm yet contemporary home which reflects the Hamptons aesthetic.

Flinders Bay House high elevation takes full advantage of its views with large windows and balconies looking out to the Bay. The casual and relaxed living areas make it the perfect space to reconnect with family and friends and the generous, well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms mean that everyone has their own space. This very special holiday home has been designed to ‘bring its visitors back to the physical world’, with just one TV in the home, tucked away for the news or special sporting events like the Boxing Day Test.

Bringing together all the elements of beachside living that the Hamptons is famous for, this luxurious property is set over three levels and can sleep up to 12 people with five bedrooms (all with en-suites) and six bathrooms.

The master suite on the top level is the ultimate, with it’s own private deck, the best view of Flinders Bay and his and hers bathrooms. Ladies can soak in the deep tub set in a bay window, gazing out over the water or the ‘whale freeway’ as it’s been called where the Humpbacks and Southern Rights migrate from Antarctica to WA’s north-west.

There’s also a chef quality gourmet kitchen and a plethora of dining options inside and out, including ‘The Bird Cage’ a serene conservatory that captures the morning sunlight. Thoughtful spaces give the home both elegance and privacy, seamlessly connecting each of the rooms.

You don’t need to leave Flinders Bay, you can simply stroll to the beach, soak up the sunshine on one of the balconies or curl up with a book in one of the many reading nooks. However you are very well placed to explore Cape Leeuwin, Hamelin Bay, Boranup Forest, underground limestone caves and the iconic wineries and attractions of the Margaret River wine region.

One thing’s for sure, after time well spent at Flinders Bay House you’ll feel a million miles away from everyday life and go home feeling like you’ve had a proper holiday.

Overlooking the mighty Indian Ocean and the shores of Gas Bay in Gnarabup, Whitehorses is a timeless beauty that lends guests the very best in laidback, coastal living.

Named after the wild, big-wave whitecaps in Margaret River that many-a-surfer has tried to tame, this modern beach shack is spread across two levels and features serene indoor and outdoor spaces that shine a spotlight on the home’s proximity to the sea.

Inside, timber materials and tan soft furnishings create warming interior spaces ideal for relaxing in style, while outside, grey tones meld into Whitehorses’s surrounding landscape, like whitewash along the shores of Gas Bay.

Set before a blue and green horizon, the home’s main open-plan living space is framed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows and connects effortlessly to a divine outdoor alfresco. This synergy with inside and out allows guests to embrace the elements, while making the most of Whitehorses’s seaside locale.

Surfers have known for years that Gracetown is a truly magical place. Winding your way down into the small coastal town makes feel like the rest of the world is a million miles away.

If you love to surf, Percy Street is THE perfect weekender; you can literally look out over the breaks from your balcony with a coffee in hand, before you go and join the morning action. You are walking distance to three of the best surf spots down south; North Point, Huzzas and South Point – and a short drive to the (in)famous Left Handers. One thing’s for sure, waking up to these epic views of the coast, you’ll be itching to get out onto the water or take a strong along the shore.

But if wineries and lunching is more your style, a couple of the region’s oldest wineries with award-winning restaurants, Vasse Felix and Cullen Wines, are a mere 10 minutes drive away. Other attractions include Margaret River town, Cowaramup (affectionately called Cowtown by the locals) and a whole load of other places to visit, including breweries, chocolate factories and vineyards a plenty.

Or maybe you prefer days inside by the fire or lounging and soaking up the sunshine on the balcony. The home has a fantastic open plan living dining and kitchen area where the ocean is always in view.

This architecturally designed home can sleep nine guests; upstairs is a generous master bedroom with ensuite and downstairs there are three bedrooms, sharing a spacious bathroom and laundry.

Visit and be mesmerized by the salt air, surf and sensational sunsets!
